Skoop is a student-only marketplace. You must be a student at University of Ilorin to use this platform. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to maintain the confidentiality of your password.

2. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post illegal, counterfeit, or stolen items
• Engage in harassment, threats, or abuse toward other users
• Manipulate prices or create fake listings
• Share personal information of other users without consent
• Use the platform for commercial purposes outside the student community

3. Buying and Selling

Skoop is a peer-to-peer marketplace. We do not facilitate payments directly. Buyers and sellers are responsible for arranging their own payment methods and meetups. Always meet in safe, public locations on campus.

4. Liability Limitations

Skoop is provided "as is." We are not responsible for disputes between buyers and sellers, lost items, damaged goods, or personal injuries. Use the platform at your own risk. We recommend verifying items before purchase and meeting in public spaces.

5. Disputes and Complaints

If you have a dispute with another user, we encourage you to resolve it directly. You can report violations or safety concerns to us at thisisskoop@gmail.com. We reserve the right to remove listings or ban users for violations.

6. Intellectual Property

Content you post (descriptions, photos) remains your property. By posting on Skoop, you grant us permission to display and distribute your listings for the purpose of operating the platform.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any reason at our discretion.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of Skoop means you accept the updated terms.

You can request to view, update, or delete your data at any time by contacting us. You can delete your account, which will remove your listings and profile from the platform.
